Westmoreland County detectives represented the district attorney’s office at a scam jam hosted by Representative Jill Cooper at the New Kensington Senior Center on Third Avenue. Local, county and state law enforcement, the Area Agency on Aging, and an AARP consumer advocate outlined recent scam trends, tactics used by fraudsters, and resources to help residents avoid becoming victims.
