DeLand police teach D.A.R.E. in local classrooms throughout the school year

DeLand Police officers are teaching D.A.R.E. classes in local schools all school year, helping students build skills to make safe, healthy choices, resist peer pressure and know where to seek help. This week Ofc. Muller taught at St. Barnabas Episcopal School and St. Peter Catholic School in DeLand. The department says building trust with the community’s youngest members starts with showing up week after week.
