E-bike rider injured in Mechanicsburg crash at West Green and North Frederick
On Sept. 20, 2026 an e-bike rider traveling the wrong way on a one-way street was struck by a northbound vehicle and taken to the hospital.
On September 20, 2026 at approximately 5:32 p.m., Mechanicsburg police responded to a crash at the intersection of West Green and North Frederick Streets. Officers found an e-bike rider who had been traveling the wrong way on a one-way street and turned onto North Frederick was struck by a northbound vehicle that had the right of way. The rider was transported to the hospital with injuries; Silver Spring Township EMS and the Mechanicsburg Fire Department assisted on scene. Case MBG-2026-09-0893 is listed as closed.
