East Lansdowne Police Add Two New Vehicles, Fully Grant-Funded
Two patrol vehicles, upfitted by KML Transport of Aston, were purchased entirely with a Pennsylvania Local Share Account grant — no East Lansdowne tax dollars were used.
The East Lansdowne Police Department has acquired two new patrol vehicles purchased entirely with funding from the Pennsylvania Local Share Account Program administered by the Department of Community and Economic Development. The vehicles were professionally upfitted by KML Transport of Aston and will immediately replace older fleet units; Chief James Cadden thanked Borough Manager William Callahan for helping secure and administer the grant. The department says the acquisition enhances officer readiness and public safety while using no local tax dollars.
