Elsy Tavarez brings Dominican culture to campus through art
Lehigh student and museum educator Elsy Tavarez creates programs that highlight Latin American art and encourage cultural expression.
Elsy Tavarez, a marketing major and film studies minor at Lehigh (’27), serves as a museum educator at Lehigh University Art Galleries. She designs and leads programs that highlight Latin American art while encouraging participants to explore and express their own cultural identities.
