Pike County District Attorney Ray Tonkin announced the arrest of 36-year-old Gregory Zimmerman of Lake Ariel on three counts of delivery of a controlled substance, one count of conspiracy, criminal use of a communication facility, and delivery of a non-controlled substance. Authorities allege Zimmerman sold methamphetamine to an informant on multiple occasions — including one sale of allegedly fake meth — and that during a traffic stop he discarded items and attempted to swallow a glassine bag; Wayne County charges include tampering with physical evidence, possession with intent to deliver, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Zimmerman was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Christina Ballas, incarcerated in the Pike County Correctional Facility with bail set at $500,000, and a preliminary hearing in Pike County Central Court will be scheduled.
