Haley Bennett, a cognitive psychology master’s and Ph.D. student at Lehigh (’26G, ’29G), has proposed and is conducting an experiment to better understand how students’ brains process information amid distractions. The ongoing study uses electroencephalograms and eye tracking to examine mechanisms of spatial attention — the process of focusing on specific locations to aid recall.
