Hanover police logged a domestic dispute, a crash with no injuries, DUI and child endangerment charges pending, a minor altercation, an aggravated assault arrest, and a suspicious-noise report over Aug. 18–19, 2026.
On Aug. 18, 2026 at 1:16 p.m. police were called to a domestic argument on the 300 block of Third Street. At 6:49 p.m. a 2015 Kia Soul driven by Zachary Blake of Hanover struck a 2014 Toyota Camry owned by Brent Buffington in the 500 block of George Street (no injuries, no towing), and at 6:59 p.m. a 40-year-old Hanover man faces pending charges of driving under the influence and endangering the welfare of a child related to an incident on George Street. Later that evening police reported a 10:12 p.m. minor physical altercation on Center Square, the 10:25 p.m. arrest of 41-year-old Shannon Felton of Hanover on multiple charges (he was turned over to the York Country Sheriff’s Office), and at 12:34 a.m. a suspicious-noise report in the 100 block of Charles Street.
