Hanover Borough Police reported multiple criminal trespass incidents and several vehicle crashes on Oct. 14, 2026, with some collisions requiring towing and one reporting minor injuries. Dennis Hockensmith Jr., 67, of Hanover was arrested and charged with luring a child into a motor vehicle or structure and interference with custody of children; he was arraigned and committed to York County Prison in lieu of $75,000 bail. Officers also responded to domestic arguments and a harassment-by-communications complaint that day.
