Trick-or-Treat Safety Reminders — Lititz Police to Hand Out Candy 6–8 PM
Lititz Borough Police will patrol and hand out candy from 6:00–8:00 p.m. on Halloween and urge residents to follow basic trick-or-treat safety measures.
Lititz Borough Police will be around town handing out candy from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Halloween and remind families that safety during trick-or-treating is a priority. Key tips include adults accompanying children, wearing bright or reflective costumes and using glow sticks or flashlights (sunset is 6:04 PM on 10/31/26), staying on sidewalks or walking facing traffic when no sidewalk exists, visiting only well-lit homes, trick-or-treating in groups, setting curfews and designated areas, being cautious of traffic, and inspecting candy for any open, tampered-with, or homemade items.
