Heartfelt Thanks After National Night Out 2026
South Heidelberg and Sinking Spring Police Departments thank residents, volunteers, sponsors and civic leaders after a highly successful 2026 National Night Out that brought the community together and exceeded expectations.
The 2026 National Night Out, co-hosted by the South Heidelberg and Sinking Spring Police Departments, drew an outstanding turnout and fostered strong community connection. Organizers issued special recognitions to the Sinking Spring Recreation Department Playground Leaders, Chief Jim Oxenreider, Officer Darrin Dougherty, Rockhound Custom Apparel and their dedicated officers, and thanked food vendors Twisted Spuds, 10 West Pizzeria and Messy Pig BBQ. Dozens of public safety agencies, civic organizations, local businesses and elected officials—including Berks County Sheriff’s Office, Western Berks Fire Department, Congresswoman Houlahan and state lawmakers—also supported the event; organizers say they can’t wait for next year.
