Newtown Township police detail a debit card fraud case with an arrest warrant and multiple theft investigations, including two retail thefts at Ulta Beauty totaling $1,757 in losses.
On Aug. 14 a Newtown Township resident reported debit card fraud resulting in approximately $305 in losses; a suspect was identified and an arrest warrant is being held. On Aug. 19 police were called to Extra Space Storage for a reported theft from a unit, an investigation that remains ongoing. On Aug. 20 officers responded to Ulta Beauty after two earlier retail thefts — one at about 10:17 a.m. for $717 in merchandise and another at 3:19 p.m. for $1,040 — both under investigation.
