On April 22, 2026, Jeffrey Allen Brandt, 36, attempted to buy a firearm at Dunham’s Sporting Goods in South Lebanon Township. Investigators allege he provided false information on the federal firearms transaction record and the purchase was denied by the PICS background-check system. On August 30, 2026, Brandt was charged with 18 Pa.C.S. § 4904(b) — Unsworn Falsification to Authorities (M3) by the South Lebanon Township Police Department.
