Joan M. Rotegliano charged with seven counts of misusing 911
Renovo police say a 68-year-old woman faces seven second-degree misdemeanor counts for repeatedly placing non-emergency 911 calls between May and August and declining offers of help.
On Sept. 1, 2026, Renovo Police charged 68-year-old Joan M. Rotegliano with seven counts of misusing the 911 emergency system for calls placed between May 3 and Aug. 29, 2026. Officers say none of the calls were emergencies, the calls repeatedly concerned the same issues that were found not to be occurring, and Rotegliano continued calling after being told to stop and after refusing services offered by police. She had previously faced 25 counts of the same offense earlier this year and will be sent a summons to appear in Clinton County Central Court.
