Joseph Bauman arrested in Slickville on child sexual abuse material charges
State police say a CyberTip to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children led investigators to a Slickville residence where more than 50 files of child sexual abuse material were recovered.
Pennsylvania State Police, acting on a CyberTip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, investigated files allegedly uploaded, saved or distributed and identified 15 items as child sexual abuse material, including at least one video involving a male juvenile as young as five. A Comcast account was traced to a Pear Street residence in Slickville, and troopers executed a search warrant in August where they located Joseph Bauman, 57; Bauman told officers he had deleted such material from his cell phone, but forensic examination recovered more than 50 files. He was charged with possession of child sexual abuse material and arraigned on $50,000 bail; these are allegations and he is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
