Slickville man arrested on child sexual abuse material charges
State police say a CyberTip to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children prompted a search warrant in Slickville that led to recovery of child sexual abuse material on a man's phone.
Pennsylvania State Police's Computer Crime Task Force opened an investigation after receiving a CyberTip through the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that initially identified 15 files of child sexual abuse material, including a video involving a juvenile male as young as five. Troopers traced an IP address and telephone number to a Comcast subscriber on Pear Street in Slickville, executed a search warrant in August, and seized Joseph Bauman's cell phone — a forensic exam recovered more than 50 files; Bauman, 57, has been charged and arraigned on $50,000 bail. These charges are accusations and the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
