Jacqueline Keita, 55, of Kennett Square, was charged with one count of simple assault (18 §2701(a)(1)) and one count of obstructing administration of law or other governmental function (18 §5101) after officers say she interfered while they attempted to take a male subject into custody on August 22, 2026, at about 6:14 PM in the 100 block of N. Willow Street. The case (KS-26-008143) is pending a preliminary hearing for both defendants; bail was listed as $0.
