Lancaster man arrested after hiding behind Kendig Square Mall, charged with flight and evading arrest
Charles H. Null, 60, was located hiding in a drainage channel behind Kendig Square Mall and charged after attempting to flee from officers.
On Sept. 2, 2026 at about 11:18 p.m., West Lampeter Township officers on proactive patrol located Charles H. Null, 60, of Lancaster, who had an outstanding bench warrant and was hiding in a water drainage channel behind Kendig Square Mall. After an officer advised him he was under arrest, Null attempted to flee on foot but was quickly apprehended; he was arraigned before MDJ Benner, unable to post $20,000 bail, remanded to Lancaster County Prison, and is awaiting a preliminary hearing.
