Lehigh athletes reflect on taking a fifth year of eligibility
Three Lehigh student-athletes discuss why they opted for a fifth year of NCAA eligibility and how the extra season affected their athletic and academic lives.
Graduate track and field runner Lauryn Heskin, senior men’s wrestler Owen Reinsel and graduate football player Dillon Sheehan spoke with The Brown and White about their choices to take a fifth year of eligibility. They described how the extra eligibility became available to them, the factors that influenced their decisions and the ways the additional season impacted their careers and lives.
