Malaya Bowers arrested after alleged Linwood domestic assault
Lower Chichester police say Bowers allegedly struck a male victim and made threats during a domestic incident on East Ridge Road.
Officers responding around 9:00 a.m. on September 26, 2026, to the 100 block of East Ridge Road in Linwood say they found 22-year-old Malaya Bowers yelling in the street and, according to the victim and investigators, punching a male multiple times in the face. Bowers is charged with simple assault (M2), harassment (summary) and terroristic threats (M1) after allegedly making threats to the victim, officers and bystanders; all charges are accusations and the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
