Malaya Bowers arrested in Lower Chichester on assault and terroristic threats charges
Lower Chichester police say a 22-year-old woman allegedly struck a man and made threats after being asked to leave a residence on Sept. 26, 2026.
On Saturday, September 26, 2026 at about 9:00 a.m., Lower Chichester officers responded to the 100 block of East Ridge Road for a reported physical domestic incident. Officers allege 22-year-old Malaya Bowers became confrontational after being asked to leave, struck a male victim multiple times in the face with a closed fist and made threats — including a threat to kill the victim; she was also heard threatening officers and bystanders. Bowers faces charges of simple assault (18 §2701 A1, M2), harassment (18 §2709 A1, S) and terroristic threats (18 §2706 A1, M1); these are accusations and the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
