Man Arrested in Clifton for Soliciting Sex from a Minor
Mesa County deputies arrested a 69-year-old Grand Junction man after a minor reported being offered payment for sexual acts in Clifton.
On Sept. 3, 2026, at about 10 a.m., Mesa County deputies responded to a report of a male soliciting sex from a minor near 32 ¼ Road and D Road in Clifton. The victim identified themselves as a minor but the suspect continued to offer payment for sexual acts; the victim provided information that led deputies to the suspect’s residence. Deputies arrested 69-year-old Stanley Pavlacky of Grand Junction and transported him to the Mesa County Detention Facility on a charge of soliciting for child prostitution (Felony 3); no further information is available at this time.
