Man pleads guilty to drug, gun and unlawful proceeds charges in McKean County
David Dickinson admitted to five cocaine deliveries, possessing a loaded firearm while prohibited, dealing in unlawful proceeds and possessing drugs while jailed. Sentencing is set for Oct. 16, 2026.
David Dickinson pleaded guilty Sept. 4, 2026, following a McKean County Drug Task Force investigation that found he delivered cocaine five times between November and January, used sale proceeds to promote unlawful activity, and possessed a loaded firearm while prohibited. He entered guilty pleas to Delivery of a Controlled Substance (Felony), Possession of a Firearm by Persons Not to Possess (Felony 2), Dealing in Unlawful Proceeds (Felony 1), and Possession of a Controlled Substance by an Inmate (Felony 2); sentencing is scheduled for Oct. 16. District Attorney Stephanie Vettenburg-Shaffer noted that the Dealing in Unlawful Proceeds charge targets profits from illegal drug sales; anyone who suspects drug activity should contact Chief County Detective Ryan Yingling at the DA’s Office at (814) 887-3312 or McKeanDA.org.
