On October 12, 2026, Pocono Township officers responded to room 2030 at the Great Wolf Lodge in Scotrun after Metallica Rose Harrison, 27, told a dispatcher she needed help committing suicide. Officers found Harrison with wounds and located a deceased adult male and a three-year-old boy; Harrison has been charged with two counts of Criminal Homicide (PACC Title 18 §2501, F1). She was arraigned October 13 by MDJ Daniel Kresge, bail was denied, and she was placed in the Monroe County Correctional Facility pending a preliminary hearing; the investigation is ongoing (case 2026-00011728).
