Missing juvenile located during Williamsport drug and gun investigation
A missing juvenile was located Oct. 15, 2026 during execution of drug- and gun-related search warrants in Williamsport; officers recovered a firearm, firearm parts and marijuana.
On 10/15/2026 the Narcotics Enforcement Unit and Williamsport Bureau of Police executed search warrants at 2500 Federal Avenue (Newberry Estates Apartment 301) and 2211 Cummings Street in Williamsport. While individuals attempted to flee, officers located a missing juvenile and recovered a firearm, firearm parts and marijuana; the warrants stemmed from a drug- and gun-related investigation. The Lycoming County District Attorney's Office noted a search-warrant affidavit circulating on social media mistakenly named Erica Moore as the source of a piece of information she did not provide—the information itself was accurate but came from another person.
