While fans are traveling all over North America to stadiums hosting the World Cup, you don’t have to go far to find the very first US soccer stadium. It’s right in Moravian University’s backyard.
Steel Field is recognized as the country’s first soccer stadium. It was built by Bethlehem Steel for the Bethlehem Steel Football Club (soccer) in the early-1900s.
