Nazareth man to face charges after alleged assault during custody exchange

On July 27, 2026, at 7:12 PM, Nazareth Borough Police responded to a domestic disturbance in the 100 block of South Spruce Street after a woman reported she was struck in the face while exchanging custody of her child. The victim was escorted to the police station, obtained an emergency Protection from Abuse order and declined medical attention; the male suspect, identified as Justin R. Urena, 29, fled the scene and will face charges related to the incident.
