Christopher Epperly, 32, of Sussex, New Jersey, pleaded guilty to criminal attempt to commit statutory sexual assault (11 years older), unlawful contact with a minor, and possession with intent to manufacture or deliver a controlled or counterfeit substance — all felonies. Authorities say Epperly communicated with a law enforcement officer posing as a minor, agreed to provide alcohol and marijuana, and was arrested in Pike County; investigators found a condom, THC and alcoholic beverages on him. He faces up to 20 years in a state correctional facility, is scheduled for sentencing on December 18, 2026, will be evaluated for sexually violent predator status, and will be required to register for life under Pennsylvania’s Megan’s Law.
