Palmer Township police urge residents to lock vehicles after overnight thefts
Palmer Township police responded to multiple overnight thefts from unlocked vehicles and urge residents to lock cars, remove valuables and report suspicious activity.
The Palmer Township Police Department says officers responded this past weekend to multiple reports of thefts from unlocked vehicles during overnight hours. Residents are urged to lock and secure vehicle doors at all times, remove valuables (including garage door openers and key fobs), hide items in the trunk rather than glove boxes or consoles, and park in well-lit areas. If you see suspicious people or groups checking driveways or looking into vehicles, report it immediately to police at 610-759-2200.
