On August 10, 2026, at about 2:27 a.m., Lancaster Township police responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle on Gentleman's Way and detained 23-year-old Pawan Rai after officers observed signs of alcohol impairment. A subsequent blood test showed a blood alcohol concentration of 0.324%. Rai was charged with highest-rate DUI, general-impairment DUI, and loitering and prowling at nighttime; charges were filed before Magisterial District Judge Mary Mongiovi-Sponaugle.
