Raleigh Homicide Suspect Rickey Andra Harper Arrested in Plymouth Township
Plymouth Township detectives arrested a Raleigh homicide suspect after surveillance and a brief parking-lot standoff at the Plymouth Meeting Mall on Aug. 14, 2026.
On Aug. 14, 2026, Plymouth Township Police, acting on intelligence from the Raleigh Police Department, located Rickey Andra Harper’s vehicle at the Plymouth Meeting Mall and confronted him in the parking lot. Harper refused to show his hands, kept his right hand in his pocket, urged officers to shoot him, fled briefly toward his van, and was ultimately taken into custody. He was arraigned as a fugitive from justice, held without bail at the Montgomery County Correctional Facility, and is awaiting an extradition hearing; the Raleigh Police Department continues to investigate.
