Ryder Jules Eckroth arrested on multiple DUI and drug charges

On Sept. 7, 2026, at about 11:33 a.m., Northern Lancaster County Regional Police stopped a vehicle driven by 21-year-old Ryder Jules Eckroth of Elizabethtown during a traffic detail on Lancaster Road at Bucknoll Road in Penn Township. Officers conducted a DUI investigation and filed three counts of DUI — impaired driving, DUI involving a Schedule I controlled substance, and DUI for a metabolite/non-prescribed substance — along with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. The charges (case 86-26-07188) were filed before Magisterial District Judge Stauffer.
