Todd L. Moyer arrested in Ephrata on motor vehicle theft and receiving stolen property charges
Ephrata police say video showed a man driving a reported vehicle; officers later found the victim’s truck keys on him and arrested him on two felony charges.
The Ephrata Police Department arrested Todd Lynn Moyer, 65, of Lancaster on Aug. 16, 2026 after officers responded to an abandoned vehicle in a ditch on the 400 block of W. Main Street. Video from a nearby business showed a man driving the victim’s vehicle on Aug. 13; officers who recognized the man later located Moyer at a local business and found the vehicle keys in his possession. He was charged with Theft by Unlawful Taking (F3) and Receiving Stolen Property (F3) and taken to Lancaster County Prison for Central Arraignment; he is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
