Todd L. Moyer arrested in Ephrata on motor vehicle theft, receiving stolen property charges
Ephrata police say surveillance footage identified Todd L. Moyer at the scene of an abandoned pickup, and officers found the victim’s keys on him at arrest.
On August 16, 2026, Ephrata Police responded to the 400 block of W. Main Street for an abandoned pickup truck and determined the vehicle had been left there after being parked on August 13. Officers reviewed business-complex video, recognized the driver as 65-year-old Todd Lynn Moyer of Lancaster, and later located and arrested him at a local business; officers say they found the vehicle keys in his possession. Moyer was processed and taken to Lancaster County Prison for Central Arraignment on charges of Theft By Unlawful Taking (F3) and Receiving Stolen Property (F3).
