Two Adults Killed, Juvenile Injured in Columbia Borough Pedestrian Crash

On Sunday, August 9, 2026, at approximately 11:45 a.m., a Dodge Ram pickup struck three pedestrians at the intersection of 3rd St. and Chestnut St. in Columbia Borough. Two adults, ages 71 and 74, were later pronounced dead at hospitals; a juvenile female was flown to another hospital for further treatment. The driver remained on scene and is cooperating with police; anyone who witnessed the crash is asked to contact Columbia Borough Police at 717-684-7735.
