Two found dead at Great Wolf Lodge; woman charged with criminal homicide

On October 12, 2026, Pocono Township officers responded to room #2030 at the Great Wolf Lodge in Scotrun after a woman, identified as Metallica Rose Harrison of Towanda, told dispatchers she needed help committing suicide. Officers found Harrison with wounds and located a deceased adult male and a three-year-old male child; Harrison was hospitalized and charged with two counts of criminal homicide and will await arraignment before Magisterial District Judge Daniel Kresge.
