Alexander Blair arrested on robbery charge in Mechanicsburg
Alexander Blair, 26, surrendered on an arrest warrant related to an August 11 robbery in Mechanicsburg; he was arraigned Aug. 31, 2026, with bail set at $3,000 secure and transported to Cumberland County Prison.
On Aug. 11, 2026, at approximately 4:44 p.m. on the 1st block of East Keller Street, a passenger was grabbed from behind inside a vehicle; the victim identified the driver as Alexander Blair, who reportedly rifled the victim’s pockets and took $800 and a cell phone before fleeing east on East Keller Street. A warrant issued Aug. 12, 2026 (Docket MJ-09305-CR-0000169-2026, Ref. MBG-2026-08-0450), and Blair, 26, turned himself in on Aug. 31, 2026; he was arraigned, bail was set at $3,000 secure, and he was transported to the Cumberland County Prison pending a preliminary hearing.
