Bill’s Famous Coffee Tours: Resilience and a Message Against DUI
After being struck by a drunk driver at age 6 and sustaining a lifelong brain injury, Bill now visits coffee shops to share his story and promote sober driving.
Camp Hill Police report that on July 28 Officer Walter met Bill at Cornerstone Coffee House, where Bill shared how a drunk driver struck him at age 6 in McSherrystown, PA, leaving him permanently disabled with limited speech. Despite those challenges, Bill created "Bill’s Famous Coffee Tours" to tell his story and raise awareness about the dangers of driving under the influence; the department encourages the public to follow his tour on Facebook and support safe, responsible driving.
