East Pennsboro Township issues Halloween safety tips
East Pennsboro Township Police offer safety guidance on costumes, visibility, group rules and driving ahead of the township’s Oct. 29, 2026 trick-or-treat hours.
The East Pennsboro Township Police Department urges parents to ensure costumes fit properly, are flame-resistant, and include flashlights, glowsticks or reflective strips for visibility. Officials advise setting clear boundaries — know which neighborhoods children will visit, keep groups together, and remind kids never to enter a stranger’s house or vehicle. Drivers should use extra caution in residential areas and attendees should arrange a designated driver; trick-or-treating is scheduled for Thursday, October 29, 2026 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
