East Pennsboro Township Police Offer Halloween Safety Tips
Police remind families to check costumes, use reflective gear and set ground rules before heading out for trick-or-treating.
The East Pennsboro Township Police Department urges residents to follow simple safety precautions for Halloween. Parents should ensure costumes fit properly, are flame-resistant, and include flashlights or glowsticks and reflective strips; children should stay in known neighborhoods and never enter a stranger’s house or vehicle. Adults are asked to drive slowly through residential areas, designate a sober driver for parties, and note that Trick-or-Treating is scheduled for Thursday, October 29, 2026 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
