Henryville man, 81, arrested after alleged assault and PFA violation

Pocono Township Police say an 81-year-old man assaulted his wife and violated an active protection order; charges are pending.

On October 7, 2026, Pocono Township officers investigated a reported domestic incident and arrested 81-year-old Hilton Pearce of Henryville after determining he had assaulted his wife and violated an active protection from abuse (PFA) order. Pearce was charged with misdemeanor simple assault (PA 18 2701A1), summary harassment (PA 18 2709A1) and arrest for violation of order (PA 23 6113A); he was held at the Monroe County Correctional Facility and all charges are pending.
