Jerdon to convert Tamaqua building into dorms for Temple dental students
Jerdon Construction will convert a 19,500-square-foot Tamaqua retail space into housing for Temple University School of Dentistry students, featuring 23 rooms across four floors and modern amenities.
Jerdon Construction said it has been awarded the contract for renovations of a 19,500-square-foot facility in Tamaqua for the Temple University School of Dentistry.
The renovation will transform a former commercial retail space into a modern dormitory that includes four floors, 23 dorm rooms, hardwood flooring, elevator, basement, and a rooftop deck.
This project aims to enhance student living by incorporating contemporary upgrades, improving functionality, and increasing overall comfort.
Construction is scheduled to begin in April and is expected to be completed by this fall.
