Jesua Tomas Martinez arrested on DUI and three additional charges
Traffic stop on I-83N led to an arrest after officers detected alcohol and found an unsecured 5-year-old in the vehicle.
On Aug. 15, 2026 at 9:27 p.m., Fairview Township Police stopped a vehicle at the I-83N and Lewisberry Road entrance ramp and arrested 28-year-old Jesua Tomas Martinez of Sheraton Drive, New Cumberland, after observing unsafe driving and smelling a strong odor of alcohol. Officers found multiple empty beer bottles and a partially consumed bottle of Hennessy, an unsecured 5-year-old child in the third row, and Martinez — who admitted drinking 4–5 beverages — subsequently refused field sobriety and chemical tests; a records check showed a revoked New York license and two prior DUI convictions. He faces charges including driving under the influence, obstructing administration of law, endangering the welfare of children and numerous traffic offenses.
