October Is Domestic Violence Awareness Month

Lower Moreland Township Police mark October as Domestic Violence Awareness Month and ask the community to recognize the impacts of domestic violence and support those affected. The department highlights local and national resources — Women’s Center of MontCO (1-800-773-2424), Mobile Crisis Support (1-855-634-4673), the National Domestic Violence Hotline (1-800-799-7233) and the Pennsylvania Coalition Against Domestic Violence — and encourages anyone with information or concerns to contact police.
