Queer Film Series screens John Waters’ 'Female Trouble' at Landis Cinema
Film and Media Studies and Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies present a screening of John Waters’ 1974 film Female Trouble on March 25. The free event is 7–9 p.m. at Landis Cinema and is open to the public.
Join Film and Media Studies and Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies for the second event in the spring Queer Film Series to celebrate queer camp, counterculture, and the “Pope of Trash” John Waters! The event will include a screening of Female Trouble (1974), the second work in Waters’s so-called “Trash Trilogy.” Prof. Joshua Wiebe (film and media studies) will introduce the film.
