Shawn M. Kreider Arrested in Lititz Borough on DUI, Unlit Taillights Charge

On 8/28/26 at about 10:30 p.m., Lititz Borough officers initiated a traffic stop after observing the rear taillights on Shawn M. Kreider’s vehicle were not illuminated between sunset and sunrise. Officers say the 44-year-old Lancaster man showed signs of impairment, performed field sobriety tests and was transported to LBPD to determine his alcohol level. Kreider has been summonsed to District Court for preliminary arraignment and a preliminary hearing on charges of 1 count DUI: general impairment of driving safely 1st offense (M), 1 count DUI: high rate of alcohol 1st offense (M), and 1 count failure to use required lighted lamps (S); he is presumed innocent.
