Star Kenry White charged after Ridgeway Street stabbing in East Stroudsburg
Police say Star Kenry White forced entry into a Ridgeway Street home on July 25, stabbed a man multiple times and fled with an accomplice; he turned himself in Aug. 3 and posted $40,000 bail.
On July 25, 2026, at about 2:19 a.m., Stroud Area Regional Police say Star Kenry White forced open a sliding door at a Ridgeway Street residence in East Stroudsburg, cornered a male victim and stabbed him several times — the victim suffered four stab wounds to his extremities and was taken to Lehigh Valley Pocono Hospital. White and a female accomplice fled in a gray Volkswagen Jetta GLI; investigators observed a Honda Accord with a large steppingstone through its windshield that belonged to the victim’s girlfriend. An arrest warrant was issued, White turned himself in to MDJ Wolbert’s Office on Aug. 3 accompanied by a defense attorney, was held on $40,000 secured bail and released after posting bail; a preliminary hearing is scheduled for Aug. 11, and the investigation remains active.
