Touch-A-Truck at Mountain View School
Local police and volunteer fire departments brought vehicles and equipment to Mountain View School so students could explore and meet first responders.
The Eastern Pike Regional Police Department partnered with the Westfall Volunteer Fire Department and the Matamoras Volunteer Fire Department to host a Touch-A-Truck event for Mountain View School students in Matamoras Borough. Children explored police vehicles and fire apparatus, asked questions, and interacted with officers and firefighters. The event aimed to build positive relationships, show first responders as approachable and trustworthy, and inspire the next generation.
