World’s largest cigar store coming to Bethlehem
Cigar Page broke ground on a 58,545‑sq‑ft headquarters and retail/lounge at 1010 Harvard Ave. in Bethlehem, featuring a 4,400‑sq‑ft humidor and capacity for more than 750,000 cigars.
The world’s largest cigar store will soon be coming to the Lehigh Valley. A groundbreaking was held in Bethlehem recently for the headquarters of discount retailer, Cigar Page.
J.G. Petrucci Company Inc. broke ground on a 58,545-square-foot facility which will serve as a retail/bar/lounge experience.
Construction by Petrucci’s in-house construction management firm, Iron Hill Construction began in early February.
The new facility will be located at 1010 Harvard Avenue in Bethlehem.
The company is currently headquartered in Bath, but reached out to Petrucci when it wanted to expand.
Founded in 2015, Cigar Page is the second largest e-commerce cigar retailer in the country.
This will be their first physical retail location.
The project consists of warehouse, office, and retail/lounge space, and is expected to open in early 2027.
Once open, it will contain the world’s largest cigar store, with about half of the space will be used for retail operations, featuring an outdoor patio, a keg/cooler room, a 26′ stone fireplace, a full-service bar, over 200 seats in the cigar lounge, and a 4,400-square-foot humidor room featuring a wide selection of handmade cigars.
An additional 14,750-square-foot second-story mezzanine located above the retail space will serve as the main office headquarters for Brandshopper LLC, the parent company of Cigar Page, and will have over 100 employees.
Cigar Page said in a release that it aims to make the space the “ultimate destination for cigar lovers.” As the fastest-growing cigar retailer of the past decade, the new headquarters and retail space will further spur the company’s expansion.
The humidor will be the centerpiece of the project, with the ability to house more than 750,000 cigars.
The indoor bar will have 42 beers on tap, as well as seating for over 200 patrons.
“Our team’s vision was to build the ‘Big House of Cigars,’ creating the ultimate destination for handmade cigar enthusiasts – a sensory experience expansive in scope, yet warm and inviting. One that combines industry-lowest prices with exceptional service,” said Keith Meier, founder and CEO.
