Chelsea Marie Barton charged with simple assault, harassment after Penn Township incident
Northern Lancaster County Regional Police say a Manheim woman struck a victim during an October 18 incident in Penn Township and was charged with simple assault and harassment.
On October 18, 2026, at about 12:40 p.m., Northern Lancaster County Regional Police responded to an assault in the 2300 block of Mountain Road in Penn Township. Authorities say 31-year-old Chelsea Marie Barton of Manheim struck the victim in the face with a closed fist, causing injury; officers filed simple assault (18-2701(A), M2) and harassment (18-2709(A1), S) charges. The charges have been forwarded to MDJ Stauffer.
